Try the Icelandic way and go Off-Roading with us and bath in a natural hot spring in the highlands.

On this tour we will take you for an exciting off road journey  but first we will stop by the beautiful waterfall Goðafoss. From there we will drive in the Bárðardalur valley and stop at Aldeyjarfoss which is one of Iceland's most spectacular waterfalls, surrounded by majestic basalt columns. Next we will head in to the rough highland and take the old route over Sprengisandur to  reach the simple but very much welcome mountain hut Laugafell, Laugafell is located only 15 km from Iceland’s second largest glacier Hofsjökull, and in Europe’s largest dessert Sprengisandur.

 

Once there you can take a bath in a real Natural pool in the middle of nowhere where the hot water comes right up from the ground. It's both extremely relaxing and energizing at the same time. You will most likely never try one like it.

 

After that we will drive up on a nearby mountain Laugafell (892m above sea level) to get a panoramic view over the vast wilderness which surrounds Laugafell, before taking the winding a twitching route down to the Eyjafjörður valley back to civilization.

We will have to ford some rivers and streams to be able to reach our goals in this tour.
